Coming Soon: Country Clubs 2.0

Country Clubs are evolving! Some significant changes are on the horizon, and they promise to make the competition more engaging and rewarding for all you Ultimate Golfers.

The new structure will feature a deeper, more strategic season; updated division mechanics; and high-stakes Country Club Championship Tournaments that culminate in a thrilling final showdown. Read below for all the details!

Say goodbye to Country Clubs as you know them…

Country Club Season 37 — which begins on Monday, September 23 — will be the FINAL season using the original Country Club Season format. Enjoy the familiarity of this format while you can... it's all getting shaken up next month!

The brand new Country Clubs 2.0 format will debut on October 21, when Country Club Season 38 begins. We will initially run a short Test Drive Season, which will be accelerated to just 7 days in total, in order to introduce the new format and get feedback from you, our loyal community.

A Full 28-Day Season

The biggest change happening in the Country Club 2.0 format is a shift in the length of a regular Country Club season.

Previously, Country Club Seasons featured a two-week regular season, one week of playoffs, and one week of finals.

Country Clubs 2.0 will feature a streamlined 28-day regular season. This new structure provides clubs with a full month of competition, increasing the intensity and giving participants more opportunities to rise through the ranks.

*NOTE: The first Country Clubs 2.0 Season will be accelerated to just 7 days as an introduction to the format. It will shift to 28-day Seasons after that initial test period is complete.

Expanded Reward System

With the move to a full 28-day Season format, the rewards system will also be revamped!

Instead of shorter, more segmented competitions, rewards will now be based on a club’s performance across the entire Season. Clubs will compete for points across multiple categories: Tournaments, Royales, Head-to-Head (H2H) matchups, and Side Hustles.

Achieving success across all four categories unlocks the "Grand Slam" bonus, a coveted prize reserved for the ultimate teams that prove they can dominate every aspect of the game.

The 64-Team Country Club Tournament

Following the completion of the 28-day Season, the top 64 Country Clubs will move on to compete in a special week-long Country Club Championship Tournament. These teams will be selected based on their overall Season performance, regardless of their division. This tournament is an ultimate test of skill, endurance, and strategy, where the best of the best will compete for ultimate glory… and some impressive rewards.

14 Divisions to Climb

Country Clubs 2.0 will consist of 14 distinct divisions, each offering its own level of competition. Those divisions will be:

  • Amateur

  • Rookie 1, 2, 3

  • Veteran 1, 2, 3

  • Pro 1, 2, 3

  • Tour Pro 1, 2, 3

  • Ultimate

At the top of this hierarchy is the prestigious "Ultimate" Division, which is capped at just 40 teams. This is the pinnacle of competition, where only the best of the best clubs will reside. Making it to the Ultimate Division is a testament to a club's strength, skill, and dedication.

Ongoing Division Standings

Another exciting change is the introduction of Ongoing Division Standings. In the past, your division would reset at the start of each new Season; now, your position will carry over from Season to Season. This means that the stakes are higher for each club, as their performance throughout each Season will determine their future standings.

At the beginning of each Season, Clubs will be informed of how many teams in their bracket will be promoted, remain in place, or be relegated. This new dynamic adds a thrilling element of risk and reward, as Clubs in each division fight to either advance or avoid relegation.

For example, if your Club is currently in the Tour Pro 2 Division, your goal will be to either stay in Tour Pro 2, get promoted to Tour Pro 3, or avoid dropping down to Tour Pro 1. The competition is fierce, and every point will count in this race for promotion!

TL;DR

The debut of Country Clubs 2.0 marks a bold new era of Country Club competition, offering balanced competition, higher rewards, and more dynamic gameplay. With the introduction of Ongoing Divisions, the stakes will be higher than ever, and the race for promotion adds an exciting new dimension to every match.

As Clubs compete for the ultimate prize, only the best will rise to the top. Will your club be among them? Now is the time to rally your team and prepare for the most thrilling season yet!

Get ready for Country Clubs 2.0 to debut on Monday, October 21!

So we are going from 2 weeks of regular season, 1 week of playoffs, and 1 week of Finals to a 28 day (4week) season. It's exactly the same length, what makes it "streamlined"? Also, why include the Side Hustle? It's the same as H2H except you have to use premium balls to compete? Never mind, I answered that last question myself.
