Play the Pro: Beat Arnold Palmer's Best 18 of All Time at Bay Hill

Pour yourself some lemonade and iced tea, and get ready for a special Charity Play the Pro tournament! This week, the titans of the golf world will assemble for the Arnold Palmer Invitational in sunny Orlando, Florida. As the best and brightest in golf today compete for that coveted trophy, you'll have the chance to take on The King himself at the same course as the pros, right here in Ultimate Golf! And best of all, while you’ll be playing for a chance at great prizes, you’ll also be contributing to an amazing cause.

1965 was a landmark year for Orlando. It was the year that a movie animator bought land to build a theme park, which supposedly went pretty well… but more importantly, it was the year that the most famous golfer in the world played a charity tournament on a brand new golf course in a small city that, at the time, was known primarily for its swamps and citrus groves.

Arnold Palmer fell in love with the new course. He loved it so much that in 1970, he leased it for five years, and when the lease was up in 1975, he bought it outright. By 1979, The King used his power to get Bay Hill on the PGA TOUR circuit.

45 years later, the Arnold Palmer Invitational brings the best in the game to Central Florida. And this year, while the TOUR's finest compete at Bay Hill, you'll get to compete against Mr. Palmer’s best scores of all time at the very same course.

For this special Play the Pro event, we took the best score Mr. Palmer recorded on each hole of Bay Hill Club & Lodge over the course of his career, and added them all up. All together, those scores come to a -11, which means you'll have to hit some impressive birdies on this lush course, known to be rich in all the water hazards and flora you’d expect from the Sunshine State.

But this Play the Pro is about so much more than just golf. Proceeds from this tournament will go to the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation, which carries Arnold and Winnie's legacy of community service off the course. The Foundation's service is centered on three key areas important to Arnold: children's health, character development, and nature-focused wellness. Their investments ensure that future generations can live a "Life Well Played."

Arnold Palmer changed the game of golf, both on and off the course. This week, it's your turn to experience the legacy of one of the game's greats on his favorite golf course, all while supporting an amazing cause.

TLDR: Head on out to Bay Hill in our newest Play the Pro Tournament, and see if you can beat Arnold Palmer’s real scores on his own signature course. Proceeds for playing will go to the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation!🥇⛳🏌️
