Syllabus for U of G's Introduction to Forestry Management

Tournament Description: This introductory course provides players with a comprehensive overview of the principles and practices of sustainable forest management. Players will have 24 hours to play through a mix of 18 holes from Chateau Whistler, Jasper Park Lodge, and Banff Springs.

Tournament Objectives: By the end of this tournament, players should be able to...

- Understand the fundamental concepts of tee shots on a forest lined fairway.
- Recognize common tree species and their significance in guarding greens.
- Conduct basic forest inventory by hitting each tree with a golf ball.
- Understand that even though trees are 90% air, if you aim at one, you will hit it.

Play two 2-minute rounds in these super speedy events, which run every 4 minutes! Scoring is per-round, meaning each round's score is counted on it's own, not added to any other round scores. Instant Royales will run from 12:00PM ET to 6:00PM ET.

Play just one single 3-minute round where every shot counts. Your first Blitz Royale is free to enter, and the next 3 will cost Game Cash to enter but will feature better rewards than regular Royales, including a chance to earn club cards! Blitz Royales run from 7:00PM ET to 11:00PM ET.

As the pros wrap up their season, you can take on 4 rounds over 4 days, all at courses seen on the real-life TOUR circuit! Play a new 18-hole round each day, with Rounds 1 through 3 consisting of 3 holes each from 6 golf courses: Harbour Town, Sedgefield, Bay Hill, Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach, and Craig Ranch. Round 4 will be played at Bear's Best Atlanta. Scoring will be cumulative throughout the 4 days, and there will be a cutline after Round 2. Major Trophy Balls will be rewarded.

Syllabus for U of G's Advanced Thermodynamics

Prerequisites: Working Knowledge of Ice Dragon and Wolf Creek

Description: This U of G class is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts and applications of thermodynamics. Building upon their foundational principles learned at Ice Dragon and Wolf Creek, this class explores topics such as drive distance based on fairway composition, the effect of temperature on approach shot accuracy, and comparing and contrasting putt difficulty in various humidity levels.

Schedule: Players will be given 24 hours to play 18 holes, split between Ice Dragon and Wolf Creek.

Objectives: By the end of this tournament, players should be able to...
1. Better understand the principles of thermodynamics in relation to golf.
2. Apply thermodynamic concepts to real mobile gaming situations.
3. Explore advanced topics such as pipe avoidance and secondary wind effects on elevated greens.
4. Develop problem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex thermodynamic systems as you transition from the frozen fairways of Ice Dragon to the desert sands of Wolf Creek.
